This afternoon, Jeremy Folmsbee and I sat together at Copperline Coffee in Port Orange, Florida, coffee and apple juice in hand, one laptop, and a sense that something meaningful is beginning. After months of prayer, planning, and reflection, today marks the official launch of LoveRewritesHistory.com.
Love Rewrites History is more than a website, it’s the beginning of a national movement built around one simple but world-changing idea: love has the power to rewrite history.
Our first mission is clear: to establish October 10th as National Love Your Enemy Day.
This day calls every American to rise above resentment and choose love over retaliation. It’s not about ignoring justice or pretending that wrong doesn’t exist. Instead, it’s an invitation to walk a higher road to respond to hostility with mercy, to let compassion transform conflict, and to believe that love can heal even the deepest divides.
As we sat there outlining our hopes for this movement, there was a quiet sense that this isn’t just another campaign, it’s a calling. The idea of loving one’s enemy may sound radical, but it’s the kind of radical love that changes hearts, communities, and even nations.
Our goal is to gather voices from across the country, people of every background and story, who believe that love still has the power to change the course of history.
